Kayak offers a 1/2 day kayak snorkeling tour to several
locations with manmade and natural reefs all with
an abundance of marine life. We will choose the location
in accordance with, weather, tide and any other safety
or convenience factors. It's a great way to learn
to snorkel and don't forget many ships have lost their
booty in our costal waters. So join the search and
enjoy the many species of marine life that florida
has to offer.
The
Aero Jacks reef is an artificial concrete reef that
offers habitat to a variety of marine life, including
reef fish, grouper and starfish. The best thing is
that it lies just 100 yards offshore, and leads to
the natural reefs running north and south!
Note:
If the weather is rough, the back-up plan is to paddle
Whiskey Creek.
Cost:
Your investment is $55 fully outfitted with a
single kayak, $40 per person in a double kayak (must
find your own paddling partner and register together);
rentals include mask & snorkel, or $30 B/Y/O/kayak
& gear, including a snack and beverage. B/Y/O
fins.
Trip length: Up to 4 miles
Rating: Easy,
but good upper body strength is recommended
