Kayaking
is a relatively easy sport. It requires upper body strength,
endurance, coordination and good physical condition. On most of
our trips we try to maintain a relaxed pace while taking frequent
rest stops whenever possible. Sometimes the weather doesn't
cooperate and the trip could be upgraded to the next difficulty
level, but we take great care in organizing our routes to be most
scenic, and the safest possible. We monitor the weather very
closely and will cancel or reschedule a trip if we deem the
conditions to be questionable .

All trips are rated based on
these descriptions:
Easy:
An excellent introduction to sea
kayaking. Trips feature shorter paddling distances in areas that
offer some shelter. Good physical conditioning required.
Moderate:
Also an excellent introduction to kayaking for novices and and
adventure for experienced paddlers. Trip distances are a
little longer and a little more physically challenging.
Difficult:
These trips cover distances that
could be much longer in conditions that are not always ideal. We
may encounter strong winds, tides currents and adverse weather
conditions. It is recommended that participants have good
paddling skills, very high endurance and excellent upper body
strength. We have qualifying criteria for our difficult
multi-day expeditions.
